Oliver House pupil wins day with Chelsea Football Club

Our Year 3 pupil, Maisie, recently won a competition run by Chelsea Football Club for its Junior members called The Googly Challenge.

Maisie was one of only three winners who were chosen from thousands who had entered the competition. Children between the ages of 7 and 12 were required to submit a video introducing themselves followed by a penalty kick and a creative celebration.

The prize was a visit to the Chelsea Football Club training complex in Cobham, Surrey to meet some of the first team squad and to compete against them in a variety of different challenges. As you can see from the pictures and video Maisie had amazing time, meeting some of her favorite players such as Pedro, Willian and Antonio Rüdiger, who she was able to teach her celebratory move known as the ‘Maisie Floss’.

The winners had an amazing day and were also fully kitted out with a full Chelsea football kit, football boots and footballs signed by the players themselves. Wonderful. Well done Maisie.
